U.S. Representative David Valadao, who serves California’s 22nd congressional district, recently highlighted local achievements and legislative activity through his official social media account.

On September 2, 2025, Valadao posted about a recognition given to a local agricultural business: “It was an honor for Team Valadao to present a certificate to Atsma Family Dairy, recognizing them as 2025 Dairy Family of the Year! This award is presented annually to a local family involved in both community engagement and the dairy industry. Congratulations Atsma Family Dairy!” The same day, he reiterated this acknowledgment in another post: “It was an honor for Team Valadao to present a certificate to Atsma Family Dairy, recognizing them as 2025 Dairy Family of the Year! This award is presented annually to a local family involved in both community engagement and the dairy industry. Congratulations Atsma Family Dairy!”

In addition to community engagement efforts, Valadao addressed legislative matters on September 4, writing: “As a member of @HouseAppropsGOP, I was proud to help pass the FY26 Energy & Water Development bill in the House. This bill makes key investments in the Central Valley, including securing reliable water supplies and restoring conveyance systems our farmers and families depend on.”

David Valadao has represented California’s 22nd District in Congress since 2021 after previously serving in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. He succeeded TJ Cox in Congress and resides in Hanford, California. Born there in 1977, Valadao has longstanding ties with Central Valley communities he represents.
