On October 13, Valadao commented on the release of hostages previously kidnapped by Hamas. Later that day, Valadao recognized a significant military milestone, stating, “Happy Birthday @USNavy! For 250 years, the brave men and women of the U.S. Navy have tirelessly defended our nation at sea. Thank you for your hard work and service! “ This post marked the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Navy, acknowledging its longstanding service.
On October 15, Valadao shared his experience welcoming veterans and volunteers from the Central Valley Honor Flight to the Lincoln Memorial during a government shutdown. He wrote, “I was honored to welcome vets and volunteers from the Central Valley Honor Flight to the Lincoln Memorial. It’s always a privilege to meet those who served our nation, and I’m thankful I could help ensure their visit to Washington was memorable—even amid a government shutdown.”
Valadao has represented California’s 22nd district in Congress since 2021, after replacing TJ Cox, and previously served in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. Born in Hanford, California in 1977, Valadao continues to reside there.
