The House of Representatives passed H.R. 8469, the Military Construction, Veterans Affairs, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2027 (MilCon/VA), on May 15 with support from Rep. Vince Fong of California’s 20th district. The legislation includes funding for military infrastructure improvements, veterans’ health services, and quality-of-life enhancements for military families.
The measure is intended to strengthen national security by supporting readiness at key installations and providing resources for servicemembers and veterans. Rep.
