Several key bills introduced by Senator Shannon Grove have passed out of committee toward a full vote in the State Senate. The legislation addresses mental health diversion reforms, youth transportation regulations, wildfire smoke impact studies, and more.
There were seven companies in cities associated with Kern County that received seven FDA inspections in the first quarter of 2026, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
On Feb. 11, the FDA inspected Naturipe Value Added Fresh, LLC in Delano for compliance with food composition, standards, labeling, econ, and foodborne biological hazards, as shown on the FDA’s website.
