Midgrade gas prices averaged $4.40 per gallon in Kern County.
GasBuddy reports show that midgrade gas was available at 132 of the 376 reported gas stations in Kern County.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in California was $4.71, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
