Rep. David Valadao, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 22nd district since 2021, announced via social media that he has secured funding for community projects and addressed his recent vote regarding the release of documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
On November 17, 2025, Valadao posted, “I’m proud to announce I secured over $5.14 million for two community projects in CA-22—the Kaweah Siphon Resiliency Project and the Tulare County Fire Department—in the Fiscal Year 2026 Agriculture Appropriations bill!” He further elaborated on the impact of these investments in a subsequent post on the same day: “These investments will help boost groundwater levels, protect drinking water quality, and improve emergency response times in underserved communities.”
The following day, November 18, 2025, Valadao commented on another matter before Congress: “Today I voted to support the release of the Epstein Files. Â My statement: https://t.co/uDJaizjzBI”
Valadao has represented California’s 22nd district since replacing TJ Cox in 2021. Prior to his current role in Congress, he served in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. Born in Hanford, California in 1977, Valadao continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
