Rep. David Valadao, a U.S. Congressman representing California’s 22nd district since 2021, recently shared updates on legislative actions and community acknowledgments through his official Twitter account.
On January 8, 2026, Valadao highlighted his role in advancing funding legislation: “As a member of @HouseAppropsGOP, I was happy to vote to advance the next three full-year funding bills. Importantly, I was proud to have secured key investments—totaling $14 million—for several critical water and infrastructure projects across the Central Valley.”
Later that day, he addressed health care policy: “My statement on voting to pass a temporary extension of the ACA enhanced premium tax credits:” The tweet included a link to his formal statement.
On January 9, 2026, Valadao marked Law Enforcement Appreciation Day with a message of gratitude: “On this Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities. To our dedicated law enforcement officers throughout the Central Valley—thank you for all you do!”
Valadao has represented California’s 22nd congressional district since defeating TJ Cox in 2021. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. Born in Hanford, California in 1977, Valadao continues to reside there while serving his constituents.
