Rep. David Valadao, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 22nd district since 2021, recently used his social media platform to highlight federal relief efforts for agricultural producers and legislative progress for veterans.
On September 12, 2025, Valadao posted about new disaster relief funding: “It’s great to see @USDA will be providing $1 billion to producers who suffered from losses due to natural disasters like the flooding of Tulare Lake in 2023. I’m looking forward to working with the administration to make sure this relief gets into the hands of CA-22 producers.” He followed up with a link for more information: “Read More: https://t.co/GUPygEQp5M”.
On September 15, 2025, Valadao addressed veterans’ issues after legislative action in Congress: “Our veterans put their lives on the line to defend our nation, and they shouldn’t have to fight another battle to access the benefits they’ve earned. That’s why I was proud to see my bill, the Modernizing All Veterans and Survivors Claims Processing Act, pass the House today.”
Valadao has served in Congress since defeating TJ Cox in 2021 and previously represented constituents in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. Born in Hanford, California in 1977, he continues to reside there while serving his district.
