Rep. David Valadao, U.S. Congressman representing California’s 22nd district since 2021, recently shared updates about his engagement with constituents and local officials through a series of posts on social media.
On August 14, 2025, Valadao posted an invitation to his constituents planning to visit Washington, D.C., stating: “Serving CA-22 is an honor, and I always look forward to meeting constituents. Later the same day, Valadao described a meeting with Arvin city officials: “It was great meeting with Arvin’s Mayor, Olivia Calderon, City Manager, Jeff Jones, to discuss ongoing city priorities and infrastructure projects. I look forward to our continued partnership. https://t.co/8O8bUFwSgc” (August 14, 2025).

Valadao has represented California’s 22nd District in Congress since replacing TJ Cox in 2021 and previously served in the California State Assembly from 2010 to 2012. Born in Hanford in 1977 and currently residing there at age 46, Valadao continues active outreach efforts within his district.
