KCSO arrests Earl Fordyce on drug, firearm charges

Kern County Sheriff’s Office arrested Earl Fordyce on Jan. 22 at around 5.30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Ashby street.

Police say Fordyce was caught while fleeing.

Police say Fordyce was found in possession of a 40 caliber handgun, large amounts of narcotics and a digital scale. The gun was reported stolen by someone from Odessa, Texas. Fordyce is not a first-time offender, he also has a pending case on narcotics sales charges.

Fordyce was charged with resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance for sale while armed, possession of a firearm and ammunition among other charges.
