City of Shafter issued the following announcement on Aug. 20.
Westbound 7th Standard is set to begin Sand Sealing work this Monday, August 23-Thursday, August 26, and down to one lane during road work operations.
Sand sealing will be done on the slow lane between Friant-Kern Canal to Zerker Road. Expect delays.
