Kern County issued the following announcement on Nov. 5.
The Taft District Chamber of Commerce Will be conducting their annual fishing derby on Saturday, November 20, 2021. For more information please contact the Taft District Chamber of Commerce directly.
Lake Evans at BVARA will be closed to the public November 15 through November 22, 2021. The lake will reopen on November 23, 2021 for the opening day of Trout Fishing Season.
