100 Block of Fishering Drive for a Victim of a Shooting

On June 3, 2022, at 6:28 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 100 block of Fishering Drive for a victim of a shooting.  When deputies arrived, they found a 30-year-old male adult suffering from a gunshot wound. The shooting victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.  A detective call out was initiated.  The investigation is ongoing.   Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at (661) 861-3110 or the Secret Witness Hotline at (661) 322-4040.

On June 5, 2022, at 7:45 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the Subway on Niles Street for a robbery.  When deputies arrived, the employees reported a male adult wearing a black facemask entered the business and took the cash register containing U.S. currency.  The suspect drove away southbound on Fairfax Road.  The suspect was not arrested or identified.  Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at (661) 861-3110 or the Secret Witness Hotline at (661) 322-4040.

On June 5, 2022, at 9:06 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Hall Road in Lamont for shots fired.  When deputies arrived, the victim, a 43-year-old male reported unknown suspects shot his parked truck and the residence to the east.  The suspects fled in a vehicle northbound on San Diego Street.  No one was injured during this incident.  The suspects were not arrested or identified.  Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at (661) 861-3110 or the Secret Witness Hotline at (661) 322-4040.
