In honor of California State Park Week, did you know you can use your Kern County Library card to access our California State Parks for free?
The closest to Kern County are Colonel Allensworth State Park just north of Wasco, Millerton Lake State Recreation Area between Visit Fresno County and Madera County, and Morro Bay State Parks in SLO CAL. If you want to stick closer to home, visit Red Rock State Park right in your own backyard in East Kern!
All you have to do is check out a vehicle day-use pass at any Kern County Library, which is valid any day of the week.
