#WhileYouWereSleeping….deputies with the Special Assignment Team were conducting a patrol check of Stevenson Ranch when they observed a vehicle without registration tabs displayed. As deputies contacted the occupants of the vehicle, they learned the male passenger was on active parole and the female driver did not posses a driver’s license.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies discovered numerous debit cards named to various parties, other than the occupants of the vehicle, as well as drug paraphernalia.
The female and male were both arrested for identity theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were booked into the SCV Sheriff’s Station and subsequently released on citation to appear in court at a later date.
