GET INVOLVED Kern County officials will be hosting a series of in-person community education workshops throughout the County to discuss the Unincorporated Public Safety, Vital Services, and Local Control Measure, which will be considered by unincorporated residents on the November 8, 2022 ballot.
Chief Administrative Officer Ryan Alsop, Chief Operations Officer Jim Zervis, Sheriff Donny Youngblood, District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer, and Fire Chief Aaron Duncan will be visiting unincorporated communities throughout Kern County to partake in a community conversation about this measure.
This series will kick off next week in Oildale on Monday, August 1, 2022 beginning at 6 p.m. at North of the River Veterans Building, located at 400 West Norris Road, Bakersfield, CA 93308.
