This morning, we joined BakersfieldNow to invite residents to our upcoming community education workshops!
Our Chief Administrative Officer Ryan Alsop, Chief Operations Officer Jim Zervis, Sheriff Donny Youngblood, District Attorney Cynthia Zimmer, and Fire Chief Aaron Duncan will be hosting these meetings throughout the county to discuss the Unincorporated Public Safety, Vital Services, and Local Control Measure, a one-cent locally dedicated and controlled sales tax in unincorporated Kern County only, which will be considered by unincorporated residents on the November ballot.
Our first event kicks off Monday in Oildale, followed by another in Olde Stockdale on Thursday.
