We’ve received reports of armed robberies in the area of Taft, CA, where the suspects were wearing tan uniforms with a gold star badge. The suspects took wallets with money. Although, the victims were not injured we would like to make it known that our deputies will never ask for money. Please watch this PSA on tips to identify our deputies.
Our main concern is the safety of everyone in our community. Please note, that we have bilingual dispatchers available. All community members who are a victim of crime have the right to services regardless of language or legal status. Always call 9-1-1 in an emergency.
