BIG NEWS
Last night, the Gaming Compact Agreement for the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tejon passed in the California State Senate! Thank you to our legislature for their support and we look forward to getting shovels in the ground soon…
WHAT’S TO COME
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tejon will produce an annual payroll of over $60 million.
This project will create 5,000 direct/indirect jobs with local recruitment beginning soon!
This hotel will become a tourism hub for our region, hosting 400 rooms, several restaurants, an entertainment venue, and convention center.
Kern County, the Tejon Indian Tribe, and Hard Rock International will partner to create a joint substation for the Kern County Fire Department and Kern County Sheriff's Office next to the hotel to ensure the safety of all visitors and residents within this area.
This land will become the Tejon Indian Tribe’s first reservation, located near the Tejon Commerce Center and Outlets.
Taxpayer money will not be used for this hotel or any supporting infrastructure.
We’d like to congratulate the Tejon Indian Tribe for their efforts on this exciting project and helping to bring this entertainment venue to Kern County!
