Los Angeles-based Open End and Miscellaneous Investment Vehicles company Doubleline Opportunistic Credit Fund (DBL:NYQ) sees value rise 84.7% in Q3

Value in Open End and Miscellaneous Investment Vehicles stocks fell 0.1 percent in the third quarter of 2022 from the previous quarter.

The strongest performing Open End and Miscellaneous Investment Vehicles company in California was 5:01 Acquisition Corp. (FVAM:NAQ), sitting 16,378.1 percent higher to sell at $9.99.

Digital World Acquisition Corp. (DWAC:NMQ) fared the worst among California companies, suffering a 100 percent drop to $16.27.

Among Los Angeles companies, TCW Special Purpose Acquisition Corp. (TSPQ:NYQ) saw the highest rise in value of 2,261.4 percent in the third quarter of 2022.

The Alternative Energy industry was the quarter’s best-performing industry on the market. The market is divided into 45 different industries.

Banks was the worst-performing industry.

Healthcare and technology stocks are viewed as the safest bets for long-term gains.

Besty Kuekcer with Benzinga.com said healthcare-related stocks, such as hospital conglomerates and insurance companies, have weathered numerous economic crises and still make a profit, suggesting that they are generally a stable investment.

While technology stocks can be more risky, given the boom-bust nature of new tech companies, Kuecker recommended a diverse portfolio of tech companies to strike it big when companies succeed or sell to other larger companies.

For short-term investments, Kuecker recommended “consumer discretionary” stocks, which are sensitive to economic changes but can rise greatly on the back of a strong economy.
