Kern County cares (package)!
Last week, a student from Foothill Oaks Elementary School in Sacramento mailed a handwritten letter to our County Administrative Office, sharing they chose Kern County for their California county research project.
We were THRILLED to send them a Kern County goodie basket filled with iconic postcards of our different cities, Kern County stickers and pens, aerospace souvenirs, fall candy, and more! Also inside — a handwritten note by our Chief Administrative Officer Ryan Alsop! It is truly projects like these that bring people closer to local government.
