Pink Patches

For the month of October Deputy Joy was rolling around in our BCA patrol car and wore his pink patches.

He says due to having family members and close friends that have shared their stories and journey with him he will continue to show support in anyway he can, and he hopes to do this again next year.

He is grateful for the outpouring of support and the public’s willingness to talk openly with him about their own stories.

The purpose of this special patrol car was to communicate to our community that we stand with those with breast cancer, who have had breast cancer or have been impacted by breast cancer in some way and these heartwarming experiences show us that we were able to connect with our community on this level.

Thank you, Kern County!
