On Sunday, March 30, former Foothill High School standout Kyle Ashworth’s current college team, the Long Beach State Beach, won 5-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos.
The game took place at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. This was their third matchup against the Gauchos this season.
The Beach’s next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 6:35 p.m. at Les Murakami Stadium against Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.
