Wofford Heights registered a median commercial property tax rate of 1% for fiscal year 2025, ranking as the sixth-highest in Kern County, data from BlockShopper.com show.

The countywide median tax rate reached 0.9% for the same timeframe, putting Wofford Heights 0.1 percentage points higher than that mark.

Within Kern County, both Taft and Tehachapi also posted a 0.9% median commercial rate that year.

Tax rates among Kern County’s 24 cities spanned from 0.3% in Mojave up to 3.5% in East Bakersfield.
